Kitty Snyder

Kitty Snyder’s career began in Athens, GA in the 90’s with the band Loveapple (which also included Jay Gonzales, now of Drive By Truckers). Kitty later started a solo career and was signed to Athens indie label “Pitch-a-Tent records,” owned by Cracker’s David Lowery, where she released albums “Celebrate” and “My Trips to the Oddities.”

Kitty’s passion for music led to nearly a decade of touring as a talented singer/songwriter alongside many well-known acts. Kitty toured both solo and as the opening act for both Cracker and Camper Van Beethoven. She has played shows all over the country including great venues like the Fillmore in San Francisco and the House of Blues in L.A.

Kitty has been featured in magazines like Southeast Performer and Jezebel Magazine. Her albums have been reviewed in Paste Magazine (”Introspective Soundscapes”) and Stomp and Stammer (”Dreamy and Vulnerable”). Along the way, Kitty won “Best Singer-Songwriter” at the Athens Music Awards and she hosted a music television show that reached 50,000 households daily.

Kitty now works in the TV / Film business in Atlanta. Kitty still performs occasionally, and can also be heard using her voice for both voiceovers and songs on numerous well-known commercials.

“The Blame,” featured in Good Intentions, is a variation of the same song on her album “My Trips to the Oddities.”
